Let me begin by expressing my sincere gratitude to all of the donors and volunteers who made 2013–2014 another extraordinary year for St. Mark’s. It is deeply gratifying to be part of such a special community, where teachers, students, parents, and alumni all work together in support of a common mission. The St. Mark’s Fund soared to new heights with its impact on the quality of a St. Mark’s education. Unrestricted annual gifts exceeded $3.1 million, providing more than 10 percent of the School’s operating budget. Alumni participation has exceeded 50 percent for the past six years, something few schools in the nation have achieved. Additionally, parent participation reached 90 percent with three grades achieving 100 percent participation.

Thanks to the generosity of so many, St. Mark’s is addressing key opportunities and challenges with intelligence and determination. I look forward to the continued involvement of alumni, parents, and friends as we strive to strengthen St. Mark’s for generations to come. Thank you for your steadfast support.
