Jul 1 The 2017–2018 St. Mark's Fund concludes with more than 3,200 alumni, parents, and friends of the School contributing $4 million for the second year in the row.
Jul 8 Nine St. Mark's teachers and administrators travel to the International Boys' Schools Coalition Annual Conference in Australia, where several teachers led workshops and shared their best practices with colleagues from around the world. 
Aug 8 Paul Hoehn is selected to fill the Leonard N. "Doc" Nelson Alumni Master Teaching Chair.
Aug 17 The Class of 2022 returns from more than a week spent on the Pecos Wilderness Trip.
Aug 27 St. Mark’s School of Texas welcomes 878 boys to campus for its 112th first day of school.
Aug 31 Hundreds of St. Mark's families and friends gather on the Quad to celebrate Lion Pride Night, the all-school spirit party, prior to the first home football game of the season.
Sep 17 The National Merit Scholarship Program names 31 members of the Class of 2019 as Semifinalists and 28 as Commended Scholars.
Sep 18 The Robert E. Dennard Visiting Scholar Program welcomes bestselling author Ruta Sepetys to campus. 
 Sept 21 The Community Service Board Clothing Drive collects more than 2,600 clothing items in support of local shelters and community centers. 
 Sept 28 The entire St. Mark's community celebrate Homecoming Weekend.
Oct 12 The St. Mark's debate team hosts more than 500 high school students at St. Mark's annual Heart of Texas Invitations Speech & Debate Tournament
Oct 15 St. Mark's goes on the road, hosting events in a half-dozen cities along the East Coast. More than 150 alumni and guests gather in New York City, Washington, D.C., Boston, New Haven, Princeton, and Philadelphia.
Oct 22 St. Mark's welcomes the ISAS Visiting Committee, who spends three days observing campus as the final step of the School's reaccreditation process. 
Oct 27 History comes alive as the Middle School receives a special visit from President Thomas Jefferson.
Nov 3 Science teacher John Mead receives the Outstanding Biology Teacher Award for the state of Texas, presented by the National Association of Biology Teachers.
Nov 10 The varsity volleyball team wins the SPC Championship.
Nov 12 Attorney and former Supreme Court clerk Sean Gallagher ’87 returns to campus at the keynote speaker for the Senior Leadership Dinner. 
Nov 12  The Junior Class hosts an Incredibles-themed McDonald's Week in support of Austin Street Center.
Nov 16  More than 700 grandparents and friends join their Marksmen for Grandparents’ Day. Guests attend classes where many teachers have special activities planned, from Thanksgiving plays to quiz bowls.
Dec 6 Three seniors are among the 163 nationwide finalists for the 2019 YoungArts Competition, the exclusive nominating body of the Presidential Scholar in the Arts. 
Dec 13 Dallas-area Marksmen gather at Arlington Hall for the annual Alumni Holiday Luncheon.
Dec 18 Hundreds of St. Mark's community members gather in the Chapel for a candlelit Festival of Lessons & Carols. 
Dec 19 The Student Council and Community Service Board wrap up their annual gift drive after collecting more than 2,200 gifts for local non-profits.
Dec 21 The entire St. Mark’s student body gathers in the W. W. Browning, Jr., Great Hall with faculty, staff, parents, and alumni for the annual All-School Christmas Party.
Jan 1 Under the leadership of Dr. Alan Stern ’75, NASA's New Horizons spacecraft flies by an object at the edge of our solar system, expanding the boundaries of human exploration.
Jan 9 Hundreds of students, faculty, parents, alumni, Trustees, and friends gather in front of the north entrance of the new Winn Science Center for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the 50,000 square-foot facility.
Jan 11 Joe Milliet is named the next holder of the Suzanne and Patrick McGee Family Master Teaching Chair.
Jan 16 St. Mark's hosts its inaugural online Alumni Leadership Speaker Series, with a virtual panel discussion between Richard Dzina ’81, Executive Vice President of the Financial Services Group of the New York Federal Reserve, and Jeremy Downs ’96, Director of Business Development at Uber, moderated by Jeb Beckwith ’80, a Managing Director and Head of Financial Institutions at GreenPoint Financial.
Jan 21 More than two dozen St. Mark’s students, faculty, and staff members joined other volunteers on Martin Luther King Jr. Day to clean and restore Shelton’s Bear Creek Cemetery in Irving, a historic slave cemetery.
Jan 26 Fourteen members of the Upper School Model United Nations club travel to Boston to participate in the Harvard Model United Nations Conference. Two Marksmen receive an “Outstanding Delegation” award.
Feb 16 The Lions compete in the Winter SPC Championships. In addition to several individual Champions, the Lions finished 3rd overall in swimming and basketball, 4th in wrestling, and 5th in soccer.
Feb 20 The Community Service Board Blood Drive collects 19 units of blood – enough to save up to 60 lives.
Feb 23 More than 600 parents, faculty, staff, and guests gather for Elevation 10,600: Celebrate St. Mark's 2019.
Mar 4 Mark Sullivan is named the first Director of Physical and Experiential Education. This new administrative position will support the strategic coordination of a number of important priorities, including comprehensive health and wellness education and experiential learning opportunities that extend beyond the classroom.
Mar 8 The Lower School announces Civil Rights activist Rosa Parks as the latest addition to the Lower School Leadership Wall. 
Mar 12 Eagle Scout Trevor Burke ’19 travels to Washington, D.C., as part of the delegation that delivered the Boy Scouts of America’s Report to the Nation. Trevor and his fellow Scouts were even invited into the Oval Office to meet with President Donald Trump.
Mar 22 The Columbia Scholastic Press Association names four St. Mark's publications as recipients of its prestigious Crown Awards, including The ReMarker student newspaper (16th consecutive Gold Crown) and The Marque literary magazine (sixth consecutive Gold Crown).
Mar 28 The Student Alumni Association hosts a mentoring event with B.A. Cullum ’99, Vice President at Aspect Investors; Jake Wagner ’00, Co-CEO at Republic Property Group; and Seth Collins ’02, Assistant Vice President of Corporate Development at Vrio Corp.
Mar 30 St. Mark's Community Service Program dedicates its thirteenth Habitat for Humanity House.
Apr 3 Nine Marksmen are honored at St. Mark’s first-ever Chinese Honor Society (CHS) Induction Ceremony.
Apr 5 The Lower School Goodwill Drive collects 6,780 pounds of donations from 193 donors. This amount of donations equals approximately 212 hours of employment for the individuals served by Goodwill Industries of Dallas.
Apr 13 St. Mark’s debate teams compete against 100 other teams representing 20 states at the National Debate Coaches Association National Championship Tournament in Chicago.
Apr 24 Nine Marksmen from the Class of 2019 inducted into the Cum Laude Society.
Apr 26 More than 1,300 alumni and community members return to campus to celebrate Alumni Weekend 2019.
May 1 A senior is named the 2019 National High School Journalist of the Year by the Journalism Educators Associations and National Scholastic Press Association.
May 3 The varsity water polo team wins the Texas State Championship.
May 5 Victor Vescovo ’84 completes an expedition to the bottom of the Mariana Trench, breaking the record for deep-sea exploration. 
May 15 St. Mark's honors five graduating senior who committed to play sports collegiately.
May 24 Latin teacher David Cox is named the 2019 recipient of the Ralph B. Rogers Alumni Award.

May 31 The Class of 2020 don their Blue Shirts and step up to their senior year. 
The 2019 Scripps National Spelling Bee ends in an unprecedented eight-way tie, with Sohum Sukhatankar ’24 and seven other young spellers sharing the trophy.
Jun 1 The Alumni Association hosts its first annual National Day of Service, with dozens of Marksmen in cities across the country giving back to their communities. 
Jun 11 Taylor Jenkins ’03 is named the Head Coach of the Memphis Grizzlies NBA Team. 
Jun 16 Middle School choristers traveled across the pond for a 12-day trip to England and the Choir’s 17th biennial International Tour.
Jun 18 Upper School students and teacher travel across France and Normandy, visiting the sights of some of modern history's most important military events. The group toured Utah Beach just a week after the 75th anniversary of the D-Day invasion.
Jun 30 A group of Marksmen spends two weeks traveling through Morocco on St. Mark’s 10th International Photography Expedition. The boys explored the culture, villages, bazaars, and natural wonders of the African country, from Marrakesh to the Sahara Desert.
