Jul 1 The 2016–2017 St. Mark's Fund concludes with more than 3,200 alumni, parents, and friends of the School contributing a record-breaking $4.1 million.
Jul 21 During their biennial international tour, the St. Mark's Choir performs in some of England's most renowned venues, including Westminster Abbey.
Aug 9 Members of the Class of 2017 gather for the annual Graduate Send-Off hosted by Eugene McDermott Headmaster David Dini.
Aug 12 The Class of 2021 returns from more than a week spent on the Pecos Wilderness Trip.
Aug 22 St. Mark’s School of Texas welcomes 879 boys to campus for its 111th first day of school.
Sep 11 The St. Mark's community launches several efforts to respond to calls for help along the Texas coast following Hurricane Harvey
Sep 14 Middle School students receive a surprise video conference call from deep in the Rising Star Cave system in South Africa. Paleoanthropologist Dr. Lee Berger gives students a personal tour of the narrow chamber where he discovered the groundbreaking Homo naledi remains. 
  At a special faculty meeting, Eugene McDermott Headmaster David W. Dini announces a new endowed teaching position. The Sally & Edward Genecov Master Teaching Chair is the result of a generous gift by Lisa and David Genecov ’82 and named in honor of David’s parents.
Sep 17 Thirteen members of the Class of 2018 are named Semifinalists by the National Merit Scholarship Program
Oct 12 The Student-Alumni Association's Mentoring and Networking Event welcomes more than a dozen St. Mark’s graduates back to campus to share their professional experiences with Upper School students.
Oct 19 Cal Rothkrug ’18 is named a regional finalist and a national semifinalist in the Siemens Competition, the nation’s premier competition in math, science, and technology for high school students. 
Oct 26 Health and security professionals from across DFW gather on campus for a Stop the Bleed training, organized by Director of Security Dale Hackbarth and Dr. Alex Eastman, Trauma Medical Director at Parkland Hospital and a Lieutenant and Deputy Medical Director at the Dallas Police Department.
Oct 27 St. Mark's welcomes more than 75 teachers from across North Texas to the 2017 St. Mark’s Teacher Institute. Participants spend the day attending workshops hosted by St. Mark’s English and humanities teachers.
Nov 5 The Willard E. Walker ’66 Visiting Scholar Program welcomes bestselling author, historian, and St. Mark's Distinguished Alumnus Robert Edsel ’75 to campus.
Nov 11 Marksmen compete in the fall SPC Championships, where volleyball finishes third and cross country finishes fourth overall.
Nov 13  The Junior Class hosts a Scooby Doo-themed McDonald's Week in support of Austin Street Center.
Nov 17  More than 700 grandparents and friends join their Marksmen for Grandparents’ Day. Guests attend classes where many teachers have special activities planned, from Thanksgiving plays to quiz bowls.
 Nov 27 St. Mark's announces the J. J. Connolly Master Teaching Chair. Alumni began contributing to the creation of this position before Mr. Connolly's passing in 2014, and the Chair was fully funded for the 2018–2019 school year. 
Dec 6 More than two dozen Marksmen, Hockadaisies, faculty, and the Headmaster help distribute hot meals at Austin Street Center.
Dec 12 Hundreds of St. Mark's community members gather in the Chapel for a candlelit Festival of Lessons & Carols. 
Dec 13 The Student Council and Community Service Board wrap up their annual gift drive after collecting more than 2,880 gifts for local non-profits.
Dec 15 The entire St. Mark’s student body gathers in the W. W. Browning, Jr., Great Hall with faculty, staff, parents, and alumni for the annual All-School Christmas Party.
Jan 5 Six distinguished writers, including one St. Mark's alumnus, visit campus for the eleventh annual Literary Festival.
Jan 9 St. Mark’s Board of Trustees unanimously passes a resolution honoring the School’s longest-serving Headmaster. A plaque and inscription are added to Centennial Hall, rededicating it as the “Arnold E. Holtberg Academic Center.”
Jan 11 The School community gathers for the Topping Off of the Winn Science Center, marking a major milestone in construction. 
Jan 24 Six fourth-graders earn perfect scores in the WordMasters Challenge. They are six of only 95 students nationwide to score perfectly on the exam. 
Feb 10 Middle School mathletes earn second place at the local chapter-level MathCounts competition.
Feb 13 The Alumni Leadership Speaker Series presents an Evening at the George W. Bush Presidential Center in Dallas, featuring St. Mark's Distinguished Alumnus Ken Hersh ’81, President and CEO of the Center.
Feb 16 The Lions fight hard at the winter SPC Championships. Tucker Ribman ’18 continues his undefeated run in Texas and wins his second SPC wrestling championship. 
Feb 24 More than 600 parents, faculty, staff, and guests gather for A Timeless Tradition at Celebrate St. Mark's 2018.
Mar 2 Three distinguished guests visit campus as part of the fifth annual STEM Conference, sharing firsthand accounts of the latest developments in science, technology, engineering, and math.
Mar 21 Kobe Roseman ’18 is the sixth consecutive St. Mark's journalism student to earn the title “Texas High School Journalist of the Year” by the Texas Association of Journalism Educators.
Mar 24 St. Mark's Community Service Program dedicates its twelfth Habitat for Humanity House.
Mar 28 The Columbia Scholastic Press Association names five St. Mark's publications as recipients of its prestigious Crown Awards, including The ReMarker student newspaper (14th consecutive Gold Crown) and The Marque literary magazine (fifth consecutive Gold Crown). 
Apr 5 The Choir of Magdalen College from Oxford, England, visits St. Mark's. Three decades ago, the St. Mark’s Choir began its tradition of international travel by performing its first Evensong abroad at Magdalen College Chapel.
Apr 7 While being the youngest competitor, Warner Hartnett ’24 places third in the Chinese Bridge Proficiency Competition held at the Confucius Institute at the University of Texas at Dallas.
Apr 20 At the Spring Alumni Dinner, the St. Mark’s Alumni Board recognizes bestselling author and aviation expert John Nance ’64 as the latest recipient of the Distinguished Alumnus Award.
Apr 24 Two Marksmen from the Class of 2018 are named finalists for the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program
Apr 25 Eighteen Upper School students are inducted into the St. Mark’s chapter of the Cum Laude Society.
May 5 For the 12th consecutive year, St. Mark’s Photography is named the “Top Program” by the Association of Texas Photography Instructors.
May 7 The Lions compete in the spring SPC Championships
May 15 The varsity lacrosse team finishes second in the Texas High School Lacrosse League after a thrilling state championship game. 
May 25 Dr. Steve Balog is honored as the 2018 recipient of the Ralph B. Rogers Alumni Award. 
Ninety Marksmen walk across the Commencement stage, becoming alumni of St. Mark's School of Texas.
Jun 1 The Class of 2019 don their Blue Shirts and officially become the senior class of St. Mark's.
Jun 4 On the eve of summer break, St. Mark's honors several faculty and staff members for their longevity and special service to the School. 
Jun 11 Fourteen Marksmen travel to Peru for ten days of exploration and service in the first trip sponsored by the new Upper School International Travel Program.
Jun 14 More than two dozen alumni spend an afternoon giving back to the Dallas community during the annual Young Alumni Community Service Event at Austin Street Center.
Jun 30 The St. Mark's community celebrates another successful year for the St. Mark's Fund, with 3,200 alumni, parents, and friends contributing more than $4 million to the School.
